The S-Mic 2 is a professional shotgun microphone offering superior sound performance, quality circuitry and great craftsmanship making for a reliable tool for audio recording. It features a super cardiod pattern which minimizes surrounding ambient noise all while recording with low-axis coloration.
The S-Mic 2 is also easier for newer boom operators to use because of its super cardiod pickup. Its low noise level lets you capture speech and dialog naturally without any hum or noise.
Designed to withstand the brutality of run-and-gun style shoots, the S-Mic 2 has a 100% solid brass body and features an epoxy sealed gold-coated PCB board and moisture-resistant capsule.
The kit also comes with a waterproof, shockproof hard case to keep the microphone safe during storage or travel, along with a mic clip, foam winscreen and a fux fur jammer.
