In the emergence of cinema in 1920s Berlin, founder Eugen Beyer believed in the medium’s capability in communication media, and produced loudspeakers for film palaces before entering the headphone market with the Beyerdynamic DT48, forefather of all Beyerdynamic headphones and used by generations of sound engineers and reporters for the next couple of decades. Beyerdynamic has innovated technologies in their products with the goal of qualitative output and input of music, sound and communication, and most of their products are still handcrafted in their factory in Germany, proving their outstanding quality and are held in extremely high regard.
