Integrated 4-channel mixer

The integrated mixer makes the POLAR 15 MK2 a self-contained sound reinforcement solution. Two channels with XLR/jack combo sockets can be used for microphones and line-level signals from keyboards, mixers or other audio sources. A high-impedance instrument input allows guitars to be connected directly. DJ equipment and MP3 players can be connected via the Aux channel.

The master volume control, level indicators and Push-to-Edit button make the system easy to operate and allow quick adjustment of the overall sound. Phantom power can be activated for the microphone inputs, allowing high-quality condenser microphones to be used directly with the POLAR 15 MK2. The integrated USB-C charging port keeps smartphones, tablets and battery-powered wireless microphone receivers charged.

Bluetooth 5.0 and True Wireless Stereo

Bluetooth 5.0 lets you stream music wirelessly from a smartphone, tablet or other compatible audio source. Bluetooth TWS allows two POLAR MK2 systems to be paired wirelessly for true stereo streaming. This feature is especially useful for DJ applications, events and mobile setups where a quick, cable-free setup is essential.

Professional DSP with presets and user memories

The integrated DSP tools allow the system to be tailored to different applications and room conditions. The Music, Voice and DJ presets are available for quick sound optimisation. You can also customise the sound using the 3-band EQ and semi-parametric midrange EQ, then save your settings in one of five user presets. The delay function also lets you configure the POLAR 15 MK2 as a delay-line system.

M20 FlexMount for lighting and show accessories

The integrated M20 thread allows distance poles for compact lighting systems and other show accessories to be mounted directly on the subwoofer. This eliminates the need for additional stands. The result is a tidier stage setup, less equipment to transport and faster setup and teardown. At the same time, the system can be adapted flexibly to different event and stage configurations.

Sturdy column array and secure connector

The column’s robust aluminium profile reduces unwanted resonance and supports clear, natural reproduction of vocals and instruments. The newly developed connector securely joins the column elements to the subwoofer and spacer without wobbling. It is easy to engage and release, making setup simpler for mobile applications.

Easy transport and quick setup

The POLAR 15 MK2 is designed for straightforward transport and fast setup. Ergonomically positioned HK Audio MultiGrip handles, along with additional handling grips on the top and bottom, make it easier to lift, carry and load the subwoofer. The column elements are protected in a padded transport bag. A padded transport cover for the subwoofer is included. A Wheel Board is available as an optional accessory for even easier transport.

Expandable system

A single POLAR 15 MK2 system already provides a complete PA solution. For larger applications, two systems can be combined in a stereo setup—including wirelessly via Bluetooth TWS. Additional low-frequency output can be achieved with one or two PORTABLE SUB 115 A or PORTABLE SUB 118 A subwoofers. This allows the system to be adapted to different requirements and event sizes.
