JBL EON ONE COMPACT BATTERY-POWERED PORTABLE PA SPEAKER

The rear of the unit offers two combo XLR-1/4" inputs, one 1/4" Hi-Z input for instruments, and a stereo 3.5mm TRS AUX input for connecting portable playback devices. There are dedicated level controls for each of the channels and channel four also offers Bluetooth audio streaming. Phantom power is offered on channels one and two for connecting high-quality condenser microphones. A one-touch ducking feature automatically lowers music volume when speech input is detected, ensuring every word is heard clearly. The unit also provides a 1/4" pass through output for connecting additional EON ONE Compacts, while a 3.5mm headphone output allows for private monitoring for practice sessions and managing presets.

The internal lithium-ion battery can be charged from within the speaker in 2.5 hours with no signal and provides a playback time of up to 6 hours at full volume or 12 hours at lower volumes. The battery is replaceable, allowing you to use an external optional charger and battery for continuous operation.

The JBL Compact Connect app allows for quick setup by selecting and controlling effects and presets right from a phone or tablet. Broadcast Bluetooth provides the ability to sync and control up to four EON ONE Compact units from one single source for music playback. The control app offers a variety of presets for different applications, allowing the speaker to be used as a monitor or in vertical orientations. Effects include an 8-band EQ, reverb, delay, and chorus for polishing your sound. The JBL EON ONE ships with a rechargeable battery and a power cord.

CONNECTING THE RECEIVER

After wirelessly linking the units, connect the M5 Receiver to your audio device. Plug the Receiver directly into an XLR mic input on your device (mixer, powered speaker, audio interface). This is the simplest and most common setup.

XLR-TO-1/4″ OPTIONS

The M5 Receiver connects to a female XLR input only, ready to connect directly into an XLR mic input on your mixer or interface. However, the included XLR-to-6.35 mm (1/4”) adapter also allows you to connect to 1/4” inputs on powered speakers or amplifiers!

ONE MICROPHONE, MULTIPLE RECEIVERS

To send a signal from one Microphone/Transmitter to multiple Receivers, select one of the fixed-frequency channels (1–6) and set the Transmitter and all Receivers to the same channel. Auto Mode (Channel 0) cannot be used with more than one Receiver connected to the same Transmitter.
