Built by the same team behind the legendary Apollo, Volt 876 gives serious music producers a next-generation 32-bit / 192 kHz audio interface with eight onboard Vintage preamps and classic 1176-style compressors right on its front panel, providing big analog studio sound to every mic and instrument you connect.

Volt 876's integrated recording experience includes full recall of interface settings, mobile iPhone or iPad recording*, iconic UAD plug-ins and instruments, and LUNA Digital Audio Workstation with smart recording tools.

Infuse Your Tracks with Rich Analog Character

Universal Audio has long been revered for its legendary analog designs, and the Volt 876 proudly carries that legacy forward. At its heart are eight analog mic preamps voiced to capture the warmth and presence of UA’s classic 610 tube preamp. Engage Vintage Preamp Mode, and expertly tuned op-amps and solid-state circuitry deliver tubelike saturation and musical clipping — giving your mics and line-level sources effortless analog vibe. When you prefer transparency, simply switch it off for pristine compatibility with external preamps and channel strips.

Each mic channel also features a true analog 76 Compressor, inspired by the iconic UREI 1176. These aren’t digital plug-ins, but real FET-based circuits with unmistakable punch and character. With three quick-select modes—Vocals, Guitar, and Fast (ideal for drums) — you’ll always have the perfect settings at your fingertips for any source.

A Generous, Expandable I/O Configuration

The Volt 876 comes loaded with eight analog mic preamps and compressors—ideal for capturing full bands or larger sessions—delivering more tone and character than any USB interface in its class. Two studio-grade headphone amps provide crystal-clear monitoring, while the built-in talkback mic ensures effortless communication during recording.

Need more connectivity? The Volt 876 offers 16 channels of ADAT I/O, giving you up to 24 inputs and 28 outputs. You can even link up to three Volt 876 units, making it a scalable solution that integrates seamlessly with Apollo or third-party interfaces.

Includes a Premium Software Bundle

The Volt 876 ships with a powerful suite of professional software, giving you everything you need to start producing right out of the box. At the center is UA’s award-winning LUNA Recording System, offering the workflow and sonic character of an analog studio in a modern DAW.

You’ll also get a premium collection of UAD plug-ins and instruments, including the legendary Teletronix LA-2A compressors, Pultec EQs, and modern favorites like the PolyMAX Synth, Century Tube Channel Strip, Oxide Tape Recorder, Verve Analog Machines Essentials, Pure Plate Reverb, Galaxy Tape Echo, and the Showtime ’64 Tube Guitar Amp.

On top of that, Volt 876 includes a carefully curated lineup of third-party titles: Ableton Live Lite, Celemony Melodyne Essential, Plugin Alliance Ampeg SVT-VR Classic, Softube Marshall Plexi Classic Amp, UJAM Virtual Drummer Deep and Virtual Bassist Dandy, plus Spitfire Audio Labs.

With this comprehensive bundle, you’ll have the same world-class tools used by industry pros to record, mix, and produce music — all from the moment you plug in.
